Updated June 29 10:25 a.m. DC has issued a hyperthermia alert for Friday. Just before 10:15 a.m. the heat index reached 101. Original Post Late June in Georgetown will feel like late August this weekend as temperatures reach the upper 90s in the DC region Thursday through Monday. The high temperature will be 93 with sun on Thursday. Temperatures will climb to 98 Friday, 99 Saturday and 101 Sunday. Temperatures will drop back to 96 Monday and 92 Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service extended forecast.
