HomeGoods, a suburban staple, has several urban locations across the county.
A Georgetowner on a trip to Chicago, IL gives us a glimpse of the Georgetown Park Mall's future: photos of a downtown HomeGoods store. HomeGoods is one of the likely tenants at the Georgetown mall once its renovation is complete. The discount home fashions retailer will potentially join the retail scene with T.J. Maxx and Michael's Craft store. At a September community meeting a representative for the developers, Vornado Realty Trust, said they hope to be "substantially complete with construction" within the next 10 months to a year. All three stores, Home Goods, TJMax and Michaels have stores in Falls Church, Va, about 15 minutes from Key Bridge, and with plenty of easy free parking. Why would anybody want to bring them to Georgetown? more ›
