Hyde-Addison Gym and Media Center Plans in the Works
The School Improvement Team met with DC's Department of General Services to discuss the project.
Members of the Hyde-Addison Elementary School community, including parents and staff, met last week with DC's Department of General Services (DGS) to discuss plans for a new gym and media center at the Georgetown public elementary school. The FY 2013 budget included $7.69 million for a modernization project and new addition at Hyde-Addison, 3219 O St. NW. Over the summer, the modernization project replaced old windows and installed central air and heat. Now the Local School Advisory Team (LSAT) and the School Improvement Team (SIT) are advancing discussions and plans to add a gym and media center to the Georgetown school.
