Citronelle, Latham Closed Due to Water Damage
Water pipes burst, causing water damage at 3000 M St., NW.
The Latham Hotel and Michel Richard Citronelle are closed indefinitely due to water damage. Both are located at 3000 M St., NW. Effective Thursday the hotel and the restaurant that calls it home are closed for the forseeable future, a person answering the phone at the front desk told Patch. It is unclear how long repairs might take, but it could be six months. Tom Sietsema from The Washington Post was the first to break the news with a tweet Thursday. A publicist for Michel Richard told the Washington City Paper that since they had only just learned of the damage, "Michel does not have plans for Citronelle at this time."
