The third annual "Merriment in Georgetown" will take place Dec. 5 between Wisconsin Ave. and M St. with holiday festivities for children and adults alike.
This Sunday, Dec. 5, the third annual " Merriment in Georgetown" will take place between Wisconsin Ave. and M St. from 2 p.m.—5 p.m. There will be an assortment of family activities, including live music, holiday store discounts and dining specials. Valerie Tripp, author of the American Girl series, will be signing books. Children are invited to bring their favorite dolls to attend the "Dolly and Me" activities tent for arts and crafts and hair braiding. Throughout the afternoon there will be complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides, photos with Santa, and hot chocolate tastings.
