Our ideal bedtime for the older ones is 8:30pm, but its often 9:30pm before they get to bed. Part of the problem is that dad doesn't get home until like 8:15pm and they want to see him and spend time reading with him when he gets home. I will say there is a financial cost to women who chose to stay home especially in this economy...it is hard to re-enter the workforce and employers are really suspicious that you will not be serious or will leave again.
