New Year's Eve Events in Georgetown

The Business Improvement District has a long list of options to ring in the new year in Georgetown.

Still haven't come up with your New Year's Eve plans? There's still time. Georgetown restaurants and bars are offering a variety of events from open bars to champagne toasts to tasting menus. Here's a sampling of the list the Georgetown Business Improvement District has put together: Bandolero is hosting a Mexican Cowboy Countdown. Enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres and music all night. Tickets are $150 and include tax and gratuity. Sequoia will have a more traditional NYE event. Listen to the Radio King Orchestra while enjoying a five-course menu and of course a champagne toast. Georgetown for NYE

Local restaurants and bars offer everything from live music to intimate prix fixe meals.

If you are home in D.C. for the new year's holiday, consider one of the many Georgetown options for ringing in 2012. The Georgetown Business Improvement District compiled a list of local offerings for New Year's Eve: The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown (3100 South Street), is offering two dinner options in the Fahrenheit Ballroom. For the 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30pm seatings, guests can choose from a three-course menu for $75 per person. After 8pm, a four-course menu for $125 per person is offered.
