Lights, Camera, Fashion Pop-up Benefits Georgetown Non-profit

Stone Soup Films is hosting a pop-up store of donated designer labels in empty Wisconsin Avenue storefront.

Over 1,000 articles of donated designer clothing will line the walls of the Lights, Camera, Fashion pop-up store in Georgetown, Feb. 21-23, to benefit local non-profit Stone Soup Films. The pop-up store at 1533 Wisconsin Ave., NW, the former home of Piccolo Piggies, opens on Thursday for ticket-holders, and will be open to the public Friday and Saturday. Stone Soup Films, 1070 Thomas Jefferson St. NW, is a Georgetown-based non-profit organization that films, edits and produces marketing tools for other non-profits in the area. “We have all these great individual donors and all these great people involved.” Liz Norton, executive director for Stone Soup Films, told Patch. “We’re trying to figure out a way to expand our donor base and …
