Sprig & Sprout Closes After Opening Day
The Glover Park pho and sandwich shop posted an apologetic note on its closed door.
Updated 10:45 a.m. Dec. 6 Tuesday, a day after Sprig & Sprout (2317 Wisconsin Ave.) opened in Glover Park, a sign on the locked door told customers the restaurant would not re-open until Friday and then with limited hours. A note posted on the restaurant website and the front door stated: "Nothing we did yesterday was comforting or smart, and since our principles are based on bringing you the best that we have Sprig & Sprout will reopen on Friday with limited hours." The online note from the restaurant, which features Pho and Viet sandwiches, thanked the Glover Park community for its "overwhelming support" and apologized for a "lack of preparation."
