Water Main Break at Wisconsin Avenue and R Street

D.C. Water is on the scene in Georgetown working on a water main break.

D.C. Water is working on a broken water main at Wisconsin Avenue and R Street, NW. According to the utility's Emergency Command Center, crews will have to turn off water to the main on which they are working, impacting area residents and businesses. Repair efforts typically take between six and eight hours. Patch will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Water Main Breaks in Glover Park

A water main break flooded local roads in Glover Park on Saturday.

According to an emergency alert issued by D.C. Water, crews were dispatched to "39th place between Calvert Street and Benton Street NW, to investigate a suspected water main break. At this time, the diagnosis and estimated completion time are unknown."

Water Main Repairs Affect 40 Homes on P Street

DC Water is repairing a broken water main on P Street between 31st Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

Upwards of 40 homes on P Street between 31st Street and Wisconsin Avenue will have water outages for the next six hours. DC Water crews are on the scene of a water main break. Work should last approximately six hours an will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Customers may experience water outages during that time.  Repair work should not impact traffic.
