Arcuri, a new American-Italian restaurant coming to Glover Park, hopes to open by June 4 or 5 at 2400 Wisconsin Ave. NW, the former home of Kavanagh's Pizza Pub. Kavanagh's closed Jan. 31 and Arcuri started its lease Feb. 1. The new restaurant recently posted several jobs on Craigslist, including servers, busboys, line cooks, hosts and more. Though the menu is still being finalized, in its draft for it features a large selection of pizzas, entrees like a wood-fired pork chop and starters ranging from cheeses to misticanza with duck prosciutto, sicilian pinenuts and dressing. Arcuri, a casual Italian-American restaurant, will fill the space that was Kavanagh's Pizza Pub at 2400 Wisconsin Ave. NW and hopes to open in April.
