Georgetown BID to Fund Security Cameras
New cameras will be placed throughout the commercial corridor.
The Georgetown Business Improvement District (BID) approved funding for new security cameras throughout the commercial area of Georgetown. "I am very supportive and pleased" with the decision said Ed Solomon a safety chair for both the Georgetown Advisory Neighborhood Commission and the BID. I believe security cameras will act as deterrence for robbers. Many robbers tend to notice CCTVs in the building and decide to look for easier targets instead.
