Daniel Elliott is the Director of International Research for a major political consulting and public opinion research firm in Washington, DC. His writing experience has ranged from covering the sports beat for his high school newspaper to more recently doing in-depth reviews and evaluations for the hospitality industry (and of course there's that half-finished novel tucked away in a drawer).
Daniel graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in Sociology. He is from Chicago but was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and grew up in São Paulo, Brazil. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and conversant in Polish, and has lived in four countries and traveled to fifty.
He lives on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC with his lovely wife, Magda, whom he met while studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. He is an avid sports fan and supports all Chicago teams (Cubs, not Sox) and is die-hard Real Madrid.
