"Swing Guitars DC" is a Washington, DC based acoustic gypsy jazz guitar trio that brings Jazz Age Paris to life with the spirited original music of virtuoso gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France, a sound that helped culturally define Paris of the mid 1930's and '40s. With a broad repertoire of hot swing standards, beautiful ballads, contemporary Latin rhythms and traditional French waltz, Swing Guitars DC adds to this evolving musical tradition in an exciting acoustic guitar and bass trio format.
