I am a transplant in Washington D.C., if only for a fall. I am studying journalism at the Washington Journalism Center and interning with Georgetown Patch, but I normally call Milligan College, nestled in the mountains of Tennessee, home. I was born and raised near Champaign-Urbana, Ill.

I hardly go a day without coffee. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, decoupaging and baking.
