Grab Your Bike Shorts: SoulCycle Is Coming to DC This Summer

Look for the boutique cycling class studio to open in June or July.

SoulCycle will open its first studio this summer in DC, according to news reports by Washington Business Journal and Racked.

The indoor cycling studio (participants ride stationary bicycles), will open this summer at 2301 M St. It will be the first SoulCycle for DC, with another one coming to Bethesda reportedly in the fall.

Forty-five minute classes reportedly start at $32. The store has also branched into workout clothing.

The SoulCycle Web site says they are looking to hire part-time Front Desk Studio Staff for its DC location. Several months ago, SoulCycle "auditioned" instructors at Equinox. Instructors go through a 14-week training program.

The company started in New York in 2006 and now has studios in California, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Will you be trying out SoulCycle?
