Rockin' the Green has been rescheduled after poor weather on the original May date.
"Back for the fourth year running -- Georgetown's own amazing singer and song writer Rebecca McCabe will get the crowd swaying and singing with her lively acoustic, country, pop rhythms. We expect lots of audience participation this year. As always budding Taylor Swift’s in the audience will be invited to participate in a sing along with Rebecca onstage. And bring your dancing shoes for a possible dance contest!
The theme of this concert is Rocking Green! to remind us of the importance of protecting our environment. To that end concert goers can participate in a park clean-up and planting project, book swap, face painting and more! And while the music feeds our souls, there will be Sprinkles cupcakes, Hagen-Dazs ice cream and food trucks on hand to feed our appetites," according to the event notice.
