Updated 11:49 a.m. Wednesday

Police are involved in tracking down a Glover Park woman, Karen Sprecher Keating, whom neighbors had reported as missing, according a post on the Glover Park listserv.

"She has not been seen for over a week and her car has been left in the Pearsons
Parking lot for over a week now," Keating's neighbor Robert Hyman posted to the Glover Park listserv.

As of Wednesday just before noon Keating was officially declared a missing person, according to Hyman. She was not found in her home and her car is now in police possession.
Hyman reports that she may have been last seen at Bread Soda.

Hyman asks anyone with information about Keating's whereabouts to contact him.
He can be reached via email at robertehyman@gmail.com.

"I am going to check the woods behind business's on the east side of Wisconsin ave
today," he wrote.

Hyman described her as 55 years old, 6-foot-3-inches tall, 200 or so pounds, with blond, shoulder-length hair that she usually wears in a pony tail.

Keating is an active member of the Glover Park listserv who often weighs in on neighborhood issues, from the Glover Park Streetscape project to the Max's Ice Cream lease debate. She is also one of Glover Park's delegates to, and recently a Board member of, the Federation of Citizens Associations.

Hyperlocal Glover Park, a neighborhood blog, was the first to report on the listserv post
